Citrix Workspace app for HTML5 - Preview

This documentation describes the features and configuration of Citrix Workspace app for HTML5 2603.10. This version is the preview for the latest version of Citrix Workspace app for HTML5.

Fixed issues in 2603.10

  • When you start a resource from DaaS using Citrix Workspace app for HTML5, the session might fail on the first attempt if the target VDA is powered off and takes more than three minutes to start and register, though the subsequent attempt succeeds. [CCVADHELP-5191]

  • When you try to create a file using the Windows Save dialog on a drive that Client Drive Mapping (CDM) maps in Citrix Workspace app for HTML5 session, the file creation might fail. [CVADHELP-32584]

  • During a desktop session, the mouse cursor might intermittently stop responding, failing to update its shape (for example, the mouse cursor remains an arrow instead of changing to a text cursor). [CVADHELP-33365]

  • The Auto-fit Screen (Fit_To_Window) setting, configured through Google Admin Console (GACS), might not persist when a session reconnects. This causes sessions to reset to default Device Pixel Ratio (DPR) mode. [CVADHELP-33365]

  • When you use Client Drive Mapping (CDM) to map files or folders within Citrix Workspace app for HTML5, some files might be missing in the mapped network drive. [CVADHELP-33220]

  • You can’t paste the content between your local endpoint and Citrix Workspace app for HTML5 session through Clipboard Toolbar, unless you manually click the clipboard dialog. [CVADHELP-33180]

Known issues in 2603.10

  • When USIP mode is enabled on the NetScaler ADC, Citrix Workspace app for HTML5 session started through the Gateway might fail. This issue occurs if the client resides in a different subnet than the STA/VDA servers. The issue may display error messages, such as “VDA connection refused” or “Cannot connect to server”. For more information, see NetScaler USIP.

Refer to Slow Response to the Client Requests when USIP Mode is Enabled on ADC. [NSHELP-43974]

As a workaround, you can follow one of the two options:

    1. Disable USIP on the NetScaler ADC if it is not required.

    2. If USIP mode must remain enabled, then the default route on the DDCs must point to the ADC appliance as the default gateway.

  • When you enable Secure ICA encryption on the server (delivery group), Citrix Workspace app for HTML5 sessions might fail to start. [CVADHELP-33623]

As a workaround, configure Secure HDX which is more secure. For more information, see Secure HDX™.

    Note

If you have Secure ICA enabled on a delivery group where you intend to use Secure HDX, you must disable Secure ICA first. To do that, perform the following steps:

    • Edit the delivery group.

    • Navigate to User Settings.

    • Disable Secure ICA
