Secure Mail 23.3.5

Known issues in Secure Mail for Android

• You might not receive reminder notifications for calendar events. The issue occurs when the alarm and reminder permission is revoked for Secure Mail.

  As a workaround, go to Settings > Apps > Special access > Alarms and reminders > Secure Mail and tap to turn on notifications. [CXM-109036]

Fixed issues in Secure Mail for Android

• When you open attachments in Secure Mail, you might see a gray watermark covering a part of the document. The issue happens when the polaris license expires.

  This issue affects when the attachments previewed are of the following formats:

  • .docx
  • .xls
  • .ppt
  • .txt [CXM-107853]

• When you try to open a .docx, .pptx, and .xlsx file using the Open with… option in Secure Mail, you might be unable to open the files in the corresponding native app. The issue occurs when you’re using Android 13. [CXM-107856]

Fixed issues in Secure Mail for iOS

• When you try to open the Voice Mail email from Microsoft Teams, the Secure Mail becomes unresponsive. [CXM-108033]

• When you try to open the Missed Call email from Skype, the Secure Mail becomes unresponsive. The issue occurs when the Global Exchange address book doesn’t include the identification of the external caller. [CXM-108034]

Fixed issues in Secure Mail for Android

• When you open an email with attachments in Secure Mail for Android, you can’t take screenshots of the attached file content. The issue can occur even when the restriction policy is disabled. [XMHELP-4093]

• When you forward an email with attachments, the email remains in the outbox. After you send the email manually (by initiating a Send/Receive operation), the recipient can’t open the attachments. The issue occurs intermittently. [XMHELP-4091] [XMHELP-4010]

• The Webex meeting link doesn’t open in the respective app when accessed from the Secure Mail calendar. [XMHELP-4037]

• When you update a recurring event to a daily event and the try to edit one of the occurrences, the option to edit doesn’t appear. This issue occurs if your organization is running the HCL Domino 11 server. [CXM-104132]

• When you change the date or time of a single instance of a recurring event, that meeting gets rescheduled to a random date. This issue occurs if your organization is running the HCL Domino 11 server. [CXM-104279]

Microsoft Teams meeting creation fails when you use the on-premises Citrix Endpoint Management (CEM) where Network Access is set to Tunneled-Web SSO mode. • When you switch from a cellular to Wi-Fi network and back again, you are prompted to sign in to Secure Hub for Android. Once you provide the PIN for authentication, sign in fails as Secure Mail prompts you that your account has expired. [CXM-100317]

• Your emails fail to sync after you upgrade to Secure Mail for Android version 21.7.0 [CXM-100644]

• If a reminder for a calendar event is present in the notification bar, then you do not receive the notification alert for subsequent calendar reminders. • In Secure Mail for Android, when you click Settings, a popup appears with a choice to complete the action using Secure Mail or a third party app. [CXM-69676]
• In Secure Mail for Android, certain emails that you receive are dated Jan 1, 1970. [CXM-69719]

In Secure Mail for Android, when you send an email, the recipients receive the email multiple times. This issue occurs in devices running Android 8 or later. [CXM-66290]

Secure Mail 19.5.0

Known issues

On devices running iOS, you are able to connect to Wi-Fi networks outside of the allowed Wi-Fi networks defined in the Allowed Wi-Fi networks MDX policy. This issue allows you to open Secure Mail and Secure Web for iOS through networks that are not listed in the MDX policy. [CXM-66730]

Fixed issues

• In Secure Mail for Android, you are unable to paste email addresses into the To: or Cc/Bcc: fields when you are composing a new email. However, you are able to paste email addresses into the To: or Cc/Bcc: fields when you are replying to an email. [CXM-64752]
• In Secure Mail for Android, you are unable to save account configuration settings when you enroll Android Enterprise devices. [CXM-65138]
• In Secure Mail for Android, the inbox becomes empty after using it for a few days. [CXM-67159]

• In Secure Mail for iOS, the calendar does not sync, and the following error appears: Couldn’t sync Calendar. [CXM-62796]
• In Secure Mail for Android, some meeting invites that you create using Outlook do not reflect in your Secure Mail calendar. [CXM-63552]
• In Secure Mail for Android, recurring meetings appear at a delayed time and updates made to the meetings are not correctly synced. [CXM-65263]

• In Secure Mail for Android, you cannot receive Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) notifications from mozaiekwonen.xm.cloud.com. [CXM-62146]
• In Secure Mail for Android, when you update a calendar event, the changes do not sync with Outlook Office 365. [CXM-62227]
• In Secure Mail for Android, emails containing attachments are not sent when there is poor or no network connectivity. These emails remain in the outbox even after the network connectivity is restored. [CXM-64297]

When the certificate has the transparency option enabled with Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) stapling, Secure Mail configuration fails on iOS 12.1.1 and later.

Fixed issues

• In Secure Mail for iOS, you cannot copy the text from the subject field in Secure Mail to Secure Notes version 10.8.6.6. [CXM-61060]
• In Secure Mail for Android, if predictive text is enabled on Samsung devices, the last word of the text is underlined. The last word in the signature is saved with an underline when you leave no space, and the recipient can see it too. [CXM-60894]
• In Secure Mail for Android, when you receive an email digest, the images are not shown. [CXM-62280]
• Secure Mail for Android crashes at launch when Intune Company Portal version 5.0.4324.0 is installed. [CXM-62516]

• In Secure Mail for iOS, you frequently get the following error message Company network unavailable, when they open the application and enter PIN. [CXM-59766]
• In wrapped Android applications, the UserAgent string gets appended multiple times, causing the header size to increase. This behavior results in an error, and the page fails to load. [CXM-59869]

• When Secure Mail fails to connect to the Exchange Server, the following message appears on the email notification banner:

  “We are unable to fetch this message as your session has expired. Open Secure Mail to renew your session.”

  This issue is fixed and the message is updated as follows:

  “Secure Mail is unable to connect to your organization’s network. Please contact your administrator.” [CXM-59128]

• For users running O365 mailboxes, repeatedly performing notification response actions such as Yes, No, May be, or Delete causes Office 365 throttling and the following error message appears:

  “The server is busy. Please try again.” [CXM-60123]

• In Secure Mail for Android, if you are using the Turkish language, you are unable to send emails to recipients whose address contains the character “I”. [CXM-59093]
• In Secure Mail for Android, users are unable to select and highlight the subject line of an email. [CXM-59185]
• In Secure Mail for Android, logon fails if the password contains the character €. [CXM-59654]
• In Secure Mail for Android, when the Sync with local contacts setting is enabled, all your Secure Mail contacts are exported to your native contacts. After syncing, phone fields such as mobile, work, home, work fax, and home fax, do not appear in the correct order. For example, in your native contacts, the fax number appears above the mobile number. Users cannot change this order. [CXM-57994]

Fixed issues

• In Secure Mail for iOS, when you receive a mail in the Rich Text Format (RTF), certain types of inline attachments and the attachment symbol are not visible. [CXM-59121]
• In Secure Mail for iOS, when rich push notifications are enabled and you turn off and turn on Mail Notifications, the Mail Type option appears intermittently. [CXM-59122]
• If you are running a Client Based Authentication mechanism in your environment, Secure Mail is unable to auto sync emails intermittently. Performing a manual sync fetches a few emails only. [CXM-59650]

• When the Enable iOS data protection MDX policy is enabled, you receive the “You have new email” notification intermittently. [CXM-55491]
• On the iPhone XS, attachments can’t be downloaded or sent and downloaded images can’t be displayed. [CXM-57030]
• When users modify a recurring meeting for accounts running Exchange ActiveSync version 16 and later, the meeting does not update in Exchange Server. As a result, the meeting is not synchronized between Secure Mail and Outlook. [CXM-57200]

Secure Mail 18.10.0

Fixed issues

• In Secure Mail for Android, users cannot view inline images that point to servers other than Exchange servers. [CXM-56736] [CXM-55843]
• In Secure Mail for Android, the PIN number was not appended with the dial-in number while joining Webex meetings. You have to manually type the PIN number. [CXM-56002]
• Secure Mail for Android crashes while trying to export Secure Mail calendar if your personal calendar is not configured. [CXM-56264]
• On the iPhone XS, in Secure Mail for iOS, attachments can’t be downloaded or sent and downloaded images can’t be displayed. [CXM-57030]

• On Zebra T51 devices running Android 7, users cannot install the Citrix Launcher app. [CXM-50621]
• When NetScaler Gateway is configured with certificate-based authentication: In Secure Mail for iOS, every time users receive a new message, the “You have new mail” message appears. Instead, the notification should list the sender name, subject, and body preview. [CXM-51075]

• If the Intune Company Portal app is installed on Android devices enrolled in the MAM-Only mode, in Endpoint Management, Secure Mail attempts to redirect to the Microsoft Login page.
