Install the Log Server
The Log Server installer and setup steps differ by platform. Select the platform that matches your environment.
| Platform | Guide | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Citrix Connector Appliance | Install on Connector Appliance | Most environments — automatic updates, no Docker management |
| Linux VM | Install on Linux | Production — most reliable, no user session dependency |
| Windows VM | Install on Windows | When Linux is unavailable |
Port and Certificate Guidelines
- Use HTTPS for enhanced security. HTTP is supported but not recommended in production.
- The Connector Appliance supports port 443 only.
- For Linux and Windows, choose any port outside the privileged range (0–1023).
- Reference ports: 8443 (HTTPS), 8080 (HTTP).
- Ensure your TLS certificate file is in
.pfxformat and trusted by all components uploading logs.
