deviceTRUST 2507 LTSR
The deviceTRUST 2507 is part of the Long Term Service Release (LTSR) program for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops™, providing stability and long-term support for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops releases.
This release includes stability updates, in addition to security hardening for Custom Scripts and the introduction of Telemetry collection.
Security Hardening of Custom Scripts
Custom Scripts executed locally by the deviceTRUST Agent, or remotely by the deviceTRUST Client Extension must now be digitally signed and trusted by the device that they are executed on. This impacts both Custom Properties Settings and also the Custom Process Task.
Support for Batch and VBS scripts on Microsoft Windows platforms has been deprecated.

Telemetry
Telemetry collection has been added to the deviceTRUST Agent to allow a better understanding of the features that are in use by our customers. This telemetry contains no Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and will allow for better decision making on the future of the product. The telemetry collected is documented for transparency.

The Security Hardening of Custom Scripts is a breaking change. Care should be taken when upgrading the deviceTRUST Agent to ensure that signed scripts are deployed as part of the upgrade.
If upgrading from a previous release, be sure to check out the deviceTRUST 25.3 compatibility notes.
The deviceTRUST Agents can read policies created by previous releases of the deviceTRUST Console. However, they cannot read policies created by a newer console. Therefore, you must ensure that the deviceTRUST Agent 2507 LTSR is deployed before applying policy that has been written by the deviceTRUST Console 2507 LTSR.
