Fixed issues
The following issues have been fixed since Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2103:
App-V
-
Upgrading the multi-session OS VDA to version 2103, with the ‘Citrix Personalization for App-V’ component installed, fails with error “Installation of the Citrix Personalization for App-V-VDA failed with error code 1603” on Windows Server 2016. [APPV-383]
To work around this issue:
- Before upgrading the VDA, remove the ‘Citrix Personalization for App-V’ component from the current VDA.
- Reboot the machine.
- Upgrade the VDA to version 2103.
- After upgrade is complete, add the ‘Citrix Personalization for App-V’ component to the VDA.
-
App-V packages with special characters (such as apostrophies) in the name or path to the executable inside the VFS, or in the shortcut path, can result in a failure to launch the application. [APPV-367]
