Fixed issues in 2402 LTSR CU2

Citrix Provisioning 2402 LTSR CU2 contains all fixes included in the 2402 LTSR initial release, CU1 plus the following, new fixes:

Citrix Provisioning console issues

  • In Citrix Provisioning 2402, you cannot copy properties (VDisk assignments) from one target device to another after upgrading from PVS 2311. [CVADHELP-25504]

Citrix Provisioning server issues

  • After upgrading Provisioning Services (PVS) Servers from version 1912 CU3 to 2402, target devices may fail to boot due to a TFTP error if the PVS Server has multiple network connections and TFTP is set to use the management network connection. [CVADHELP-25738]
  • You may sometimes see a blank cache volume drive letter in Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) root\Citrix\PVS_Target class. [CVADHELP-26750]
  • The problem reporting causes 100% CPU usage in the database and the problem report status is stuck as Initiated on all Citrix Provisioning Servers. [CVADHELP-27070]
  • Silent upgrade of Citrix Provisioning components sometimes generated popups. This is fixed if you upgrade from 2203 CU4 to 2203 CU6 or later, or, 2203 CU6 or later to 2503 or later. [CVADHELP-26267]
  • If the Citrix Provisioning target device is installed when running as the system account, the installation is successful, but the package is not shown in “add/remove programs” [CVADHELP-26469]
  • Citrix Provisioning vDisk WMI sometimes returns blank result for cache volume drive letter. [PVS-13642]
  • When you use Citrix Provisioning Boot Device Manager (BDM.exe) to create a new Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) boot entry, the bootable UEFI disk might not be created correctly if the device is a non-Operating System (OS) disk. [CVADHELP-26470]

Citrix Provisioning target device issues

  • When you use Citrix Provisioning Boot Device Manager (BDM.exe) to create a new Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) boot entry, the bootable UEFI disk may not be created correctly if the device is a non-Operating System (OS) disk. [CVADHELP-26470]
