Configure the Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP)
To configure the CEIP, follow these steps:
- Open the Group Policy Management Editor.
- Under Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates: Policy definitions (ADMX files) > Citrix Components > Profile Management > Advanced settings, double-click Customer Experience Improvement Program.
- Select Enabled or Disabled, then click OK.
- For your changes to take effect, run the
gpupdate /force
command from the command prompt as documented at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/windows-commands/gpupdate.
Note: If the CEIP is not configured in Group Policy objects and HDX, the value from the .ini file is used. If this setting is not configured anywhere, it is enabled by default.
For more information about the CEIP, see About the Citrix Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP).
