Support for Microsoft Entra ID authentication with conditional access

Starting from the Citrix Secure Access client for Linux release 25.5.1, Microsoft Entra ID authentication with conditional access is supported with the Microsoft Edge browser.

Perform the following steps to configure the Citrix Secure Access™ client to use the Microsoft Edge browser for Microsoft Entra ID authentication:

Prerequisites:

Microsoft Edge browser must be installed on the end user’s device.

Note:

The following configuration changes must be done only if the authentication has Entra ID with conditional access set to Allow only registered devices.

Open the file /opt/Citrix/NSGClient/globalConfiguration.json using administrator permissions.
Change the value of enable_edge_browser_auth to true.
For the changes in globalConfiguration.json to take effect, restart the Citrix Secure Access client.
Close all the windows of the Microsoft Edge browser.
